Meet Mary – Your Host at Dunmore Gem

Hello! I’m Mary, the heart and hands behind your stay at Dunmore Gem. While my husband and I own this beautiful property together, I’m the one you’ll be in touch with and the person ensuring every detail of your experience is just right.

I wear many hats—photographer, marketer, guest liaison, and chief problem-solver—and I genuinely love what I do. Whether I’m exploring new restaurants, enjoying the sunshine by the sea, or styling a welcoming space, my goal is always the same: to create beautiful environments where families can relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories.

My love for hospitality began during my five years as a waitress in the United States, where I discovered the joy of making people feel cared for. That spark reignited in the spring of 2025 when I decided, somewhat on a whim, to list our home on Airbnb. What started as an experiment quickly became a passion, and by November of that year, after much reflection, I transitioned to hosting full-time.
