Why should we book Dunmore Gem?
Walk to Everything: Just a scenic 10-minute stroll to the lower village. There, you’ll find the famous Strand Inn and beautiful, child-friendly beaches. A playground is right across from Dunmore Gem.
Impeccable Comfort: Enjoy hotel-quality linens and towels, super comfy beds, and a stylish interior. Guests call Dunmore Gem "gorgeous" and "amazing." We offer strong WiFi, TVs in every bedroom, and all the amenities for a smooth stay.
Do you allow pets?
We love fur babies, but we have a strict no-pets policy.
Where are you located?
We’re in the peaceful area of Dunmore East Golf Club, just a scenic 10-minute walk from the lower village. Please note: the walk back includes a short, steep section—our kids (8 and 11) manage just fine with a break.
What are your house rules?
- Guests must sign a Rental Agreement within 48 hours of booking. If you book less than 48 hours before check-in, sign it within 4 hours.
- A €300 housekeeping hold is required. This hold covers any damages or extra cleaning. It will be placed 2 days before arrival and released 5 days after departure, if all is well.
- Up to six guests are allowed.
- No one is allowed on the Juliet Balcony.
- No smoking or parties.
- Please leave Dunmore Gem as you would if visiting friends.
- Be a good neighbour! Respect quiet hours from 11 PM to 8 AM.
What are your booking terms?
A 10% booking deposit confirms your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before check-in.
What is your cancellation policy?
- More than 30 days before arrival: A €100 cancellation fee applies, and you’ll be refunded the rest.
- Less than 30 days before arrival: The full rental amount is non-refundable.
Where is your main bathroom located?
The main bathroom is on the ground floor.
Where are your bedrooms located?
All 3 bedrooms are on the first floor. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.
What essentials do you supply?
We provide towels, linens, toiletries, toilet rolls, kitchen towels, and dish-washing supplies. Please note, we do not supply beach towels.
Can you provide a travel cot or a high chair?
We can provide a travel cot and a highchair upon request at booking. You’ll need to bring your own bedding for the cot. It comes with a standard padded base, but some guests choose to bring an extra mattress for comfort.
When can Dunmore Gem be booked?
Dunmore Gem can be booked six months in advance. Booking early is best, especially during school holidays.
